Why I started this Platform:

As Indo-Caribbeans, we frequently hear, “But you don’t look Caribbean”and either told we’re “not Indian enough” or “not Caribbean enough”. Many people don’t fully understand what it means to be Indo-Caribbean.

Being Indo-Caribbean in the UK comes with its own unique challenges. Our history, identity, and contributions are often overlooked, leaving us underrepresented in cultural, academic and media spaces.

Our mission:

Roots & Research is a mindset and empowerment platform grounded in psychology. We help you break limiting patterns, build self-awareness, and grow with purpose. Through coaching, science-backed insights, and reflective tools, we guide you to unlock your potential from the inside out

Through, Roots & Research I hope to create a platform where Indo-Caribbean voices are heard, where our identity is embraced in all its complexity, and where Self development and culture come together in meaningful ways.
